The stigma of depression means that it can be really tough to talk about. But talking about it gives those scary and relentless thoughts an outlet. Talking about it also opens the door for support from others. It’s important to have the space to digest those thoughts, to work through them and look at them from a different perspective.
Writing can really help with that. The act of putting pen to paper can be a valuable outlet for those thoughts.
Just letting you all know Nelly Globe Charitable Organisation was involved in a wonderful evening at The Kings Arms in Salford with MPA, Cuckoo Design and Silverback Social on Thursday 21st April 2016. Thanks to all those that showed their support. The bands - The Rainband, The G-O-D, River Versus and Inhale were marvellous. Fantastic prizes on the Art Raffle a Malcom Garret print of Kraftwerk, Clint Boon sketch and two tickets to NME awards in London. Many thanks to Chris Bridgett in getting us involved. Really enjoyed it, heres to the next one :~)
